Clifford Chance has advised Jonckers, a leading global tech-enabled language service provider, on the acquisition by Mayfair Equity Partners LLP of a majority stake in the company.

Founded in 1994, Jonckers employs over 150 people across the UK, US, EU, and Asia and has a global client base that includes Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon. Jonckers’ growth has been driven by its proprietary technology platform WordsOnline, which utilises AI-powered processes to translate content five times faster and at half the cost of traditional translation services.

Brussels corporate partner Niek De Pauw led the transaction and was supported by counsel Patrice Viaene and associate Celine Feys, together with the support from colleagues across the Clifford Chance network.
