Clifford Chance advises Brazil’s Klabin on US$595 million syndicated loan

International law firm Clifford Chance has advised Brazilian pulp and paper producer Klabin S.A. (Klabin) in connection with its unsecured, dual tranche 5-year US$595 million syndicated loan.

The proceeds of the loan will be used as part of the company’s ongoing liability and liquidity management. Klabin is a longtime client of the firm.

The Clifford Chance team advising on the deal included partners Patrick Jackson, Andrew Young, Darren Littlejohn and Jeff LeMaster, associates Heba Hazzaa and Krisztián Barta and staff attorney Victoria Weaver.
