Baker McKenzie acted for BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank in connection with their approximately CHF 19 billion bridge facility for Roche Holding Ltd. Roche Holding Ltd will use the proceeds of the bridge facility to repurchase 53.3 million Roche shares from Novartis Holding AG.

Baker McKenzie advised the banks on all legal and tax aspects of the transaction.
