Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Corporate and M&A practice with the recruitment of partner Dr. Gesine von der Groeben who joined the Frankfurt office effective today. She will advise on venture capital matters, expanding Dentons’ advisory services for investors, start-ups and founders.
Gesine von der Groeben has extensive experience in advising on M&A and venture capital transactions as well as on corporate, group and transformation law. Her clients include national and international companies, groups, start-ups, founders, venture capitalists and investors, including FinTech companies. In addition to transactional work, she regularly advises on transformation measures in general corporate law as well as on contract drafting.
Her recent transactions include advising the European venture capital investor Breed Reply on an investment in the German blockchain tech company Ubirch, and representing Mérieux NutriSciences on the acquisition of Institut Kirchhoff Berlin. She joins Dentons from Beiten Burkhardt, where she had been a partner and head of the Spanish desk since 2012.
