Dentons represented Berlin-based software marketing company Zeotap in its €37 million Series C financing round. Investors included the venture capital fund NeueCapital, the New York-based fund MathCapital (which focuses on marketing technology), TTCER Partners, Coparion (a fund supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics, KfW and the European Investment Bank) and private family office Kathaka. Eric Roza, former head of Oracle Data Cloud, joined the supervisory board in connection with the round. Earlier investors include Berlin company builder Ioniq (formerly Hitfox), as well as Capnamic Ventures and Iris Capital.
Zeotap was founded in 2014 by Daniel Heer and Projjol Banerjea. It provides a SaaS-based platform that facilitates targeted marketing compliant with data protection requirements. Its customers include Mercedes, Vodafone, N26 and Red Bull. The business already has operations in 10 countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and India. Zeotap will use the new funds to continue the expansion of its software platform.
