The Prague office of Clifford Chance is pleased to announce the legal support of CBRE Investment Management, a global real assets investment management firm, in connection with sale of two Swedish retail assets, Port 73 and Gallerian Nian, on behalf of a European shopping centre strategy to Nordic real estate investment firm NIAM.

Port 73 is a 35,000 sq m GLA hybrid shopping centre and retail park located in Haninge, a municipality in Stockholm County. Urban shopping centre with notable office area Gallerian Nian is located in the city Gävle and spans around 22,000 sq m GLA.

Robert Sninčák, CBRE’s Fund Manager commented: “We are pleased to have successfully completed the sale, which was made possible by the comprehensive legal support of Clifford Chance. Their expertise and professionalism were integral in facilitating the transaction.”

“Our Prague team worked closely with our befriended law firm in Sweden, Vinge, focusing on smooth and successful outcome of the cross-border transaction, which reinforced our partnership with CBRE” added Emil Holub, partner at Clifford Chance.

The Clifford Chance team advising on the transaction was led by the Prague office’s partner and head of real estate Emil Holub and counsel Aneta Disman. The team further consisted of associate OndĹ™ej DolenskĂ˝.

The legal advice to CBRE was nourished by the productive collaboration between Clifford Chance and Swedish law firm Vinge.
