Dentons announces today that Stephen Yang has joined the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice as a partner in the New York office. Yang offers clients extensive experience in patent law, patent litigation, Section 337 investigations, and post-grant proceedings.
With a focus on intellectual property litigation, Yang has represented clients in a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemical manufacturing and compositions, as well as electronics, software and computers, and automotives. He is well-versed in handling all facets of litigation in federal courts, as well as Section 337 investigations before the US International Trade Commission, and has served as lead counsel in successful inter partes reviews before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Yang is also highly regarded for his proficiency in assisting Asian companies as they navigate the US and international markets while ensuring compliance with US laws. His vast knowledge in coordinating litigations and developing IP strategies across Asia, Europe, and the US has made him a trusted advisor to many international clients.
