Sidley Represents Z Capital Partners Portfolio Company Techniks Tool Group in its Acquisition of The Eppinger Group

Sidley is representing Z Capital Partners, L.L.C. portfolio company Techniks Tool Group (“TTG”) in its acquisition of The Eppinger Group (“Eppinger”). TTG is a manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket and OEM tooling products in North America. Eppinger is a Germany-based designer and manufacturer of static and live tools, complete CNC (“Computerized Numerical Control”) tooling systems, rotary tables for CNC machines, and gears and gearboxes for robotics applications. The combined business will be named Eppinger Technologies and will expand its broad product offering of highly engineered solutions to cover both milling and lathe CNC machines.

The Sidley team is being led by Marcus Klie and Vijay S. Sekhon (Private Equity), and includes Thomas Komanek, Ryan M. Hicks, Amadeus Moeser, Valentin Specht, Ufuk Erdal Genc, and C.J. Burton (Private Equity); Amanda M. Casanueva (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Alessandra Moroni (Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy); Markus Feil, Kelly M. Dybala, Adam M. Nelson, Alejandro Ruiz, Louise Freund, Reid McKinney, Christian Axhausen, and James AM Richards (Global Finance); Erika B. Pringle (Labor and Employment); Keith Hayden Del Prete, Jonathan H. Koh, and Natasha Gunasekara (Real Estate); Roderic Pagel, Jörg Fischer, Eric M. Grosshandler, Andrew B. Smith, Jacob Schreiber, and Corinna Linhardt (Tax); and Zach Johnston (Technology and Life Sciences Transactions).
