San Francisco – Sidley is pleased to welcome Daniel Elefant as a partner in the M&A and Private Equity practice in San Francisco. Prior to joining Sidley, Mr. Elefant was a Director at SoftBank Investment Advisers, serving as senior in-house counsel for SoftBank’s $100+ billion Vision Funds.
Mr. Elefant has experience in representing technology and life sciences companies, from formation through initial public offerings or M&A exits, and as a corporate/securities counsel following initial public offering. He has worked on over 150 private financing transactions and over a dozen initial and follow-on public offerings. Daniel has also advised clients on a number of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, including a number of private equity buyout transactions.
