Sidley acted as international counsel to ICICI Securities, Axis Capital, Citigroup Global Markets India, and Ambit, the book running lead managers, in the US$220 million initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (Akums).
Akums is one of India’s leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) and offers a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical products and services in India and overseas. Akums is backed by an affiliate of Quadria Capital, a prominent healthcare-focused private equity fund in Asia.
