Sidley acted as international counsel to lead managers ICICI Securities Limited, CLSA India Private Limited, IIFL Securities Limited and JM Financial Limited in connection with the INR11,040 million (approximately US$135 million) initial public offering of equity shares of Fusion Micro Finance Limited pursuant to Section 4(a) and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933.
Fusion Micro Finance Limited is the second-largest NBFC-MFI in India which touches lives of three million rural clients in the country. Fusion was established in 2010 with a core idea to create opportunities at the bottom of the pyramid by providing financial services to underserved and unserved women entrepreneurs in rural areas.
