In a press conference on Wednesday, with the presence of fellow media associates, the NRI couple said they had purchased a plot of land at La Tim Lifestyle and Resort Ltd at Panvel, from Rahul Timbadia. It is a horticultural plot where the elderly couple had planned to build their retirement home, which, they alleged has turned into a battleground as they as barred from approaching their property. Advocate Abha Singh has taken the stand for both the couple and the forest officer Sunil Kapsey, who has been debarred from his position for doing his duty rightfully.
Albeit to this; Singh has accused Suddhir Mungantiwar, the forest officer, who has assured the elderly couple to help them and who was seen mingling around with Salman within a week. The lawyer has provided evidence of Salman visiting the home of Mungantiwar, felicitating him and taking a selfie with the actor.Â
Singh has alleged false facts had been submitted by the Khans to obtain forest clearance for constructing 23 illegal constructions on Arpita farms, owned by the Khans after the Matheran notification in 2003, declaring the region as an eco-sensitive zone.
