Ropes & Gray Represents Compass Diversified in its Sale of Marucci Sports for $572 Million

Ropes & Gray represented Compass Diversified in connection with its sale of its majority owned subsidiary, Wheelhouse Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Marucci Sports, LLC (“Marucci”), to Fox Factory Holding Corp. Under the terms of the agreement, Marucci will be sold for an enterprise value of $572 million. The transaction was announced in a press release on November 2.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partners Brandon Howald and Gabrielle DiBernardi, tax partner Benjamin Rogers, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Kyle Higley, litigation & enforcement partner Samer Musallam, environmental partner Peter Alpert and real estate partner Jack Creedon.
