Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Banking and Finance practice in Prague with the recruitment of Ondřej Bartoň as a partner. He joined the Firm effective April 1, 2023.
Ondřej Bartoň has 13 years’ experience in project, export, acquisition, and real estate financing transactions. He also advises on financial and consensual debt restructuring. He played a significant role in the preparation of Covid III, Covid Plus and EGAP Plus state guarantee programs aimed at protecting the Czech economy from the negative economic effects of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. In addition, he has a strong focus on the regulation of banks and insurance companies, having advised numerous financial institutions on acquisitions of regulated entities in the CEE region. He joins Dentons from White & Case, where he was an associate, and where he also served on a secondment to the Czech branch of a global bank.
