Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised five of Thailand’s leading financial institutions on a THB 50 billion long-term green loan agreement for One Bangkok Co., Ltd, the largest such joint financing of its kind to date in the market.
Bangkok Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, KASIKORNBANK, Krungthai Bank, and Siam Commercial Bank are providing a green local facility to One Bangkok Co., Ltd., a Thai entity, for the purpose of funding the further development and operation of One Bangkok Project, a large-scale holistically integrated development in the heart of Bangkok.
One Bangkok secured the loan based on its commitment to sustainability principles, encompassing design, construction, and management, with a focus on efficient resource and energy utilization, minimizing environmental impact, and creating value for the community and society.
The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by partner and Head of Bangkok, Tassanai Kiratisountorn, counsel Chormas Premsirinirund, senior associate Niracha Sanguankeo and associate Methawat Wongsuwat.
