Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Banco Santander, as lender, on the project profile and due diligence for the financing of the takeover of the A21/A5 toll road by the borrower and project company Ivrea Torino Piacenza S.p.A., which is controlled by Consorzio Stabile SIS S.C.p.a.
The A21/A5 toll road includes the A21 Torino-Alessandria-Piacenza, A5 Torino-Ivrea-Quincinetto highway sections, A4/A5 Ivrea-Santhià connecting link, Torino-Pinerolo branch, and Torino Ring Road System. These road networks are considered strategic for connectivity in Northern Italy, as they connect Turin to other large cities in one of the country’s most industrialized areas.
