CONCEPT NOTE
The interrelation and interdependence between human rights, and peace, democracy, development and the environment is under continuous evolution therefore we need a new approach to deal with. The programme intends to highlight the obstacles and threats to human rights at the dawn of the twenty first century and ponders over ways and means to overcome them. The possible positive and negative impact on human rights of globalization, the information revolution and scientific and technological progress is also discussed by well known human rights specialists from different regions.
This training programme aims at giving the participants i.e. students, academicians, practicing lawyers and members from NGOs a comprehensive understanding of human rights issues and serves the broader objective of NUSRL, Ranchi leading the way to meaningful and sensitive legal education.
