Nelsons Announces New Partner And Investment Management Lead

A NEW head of investment management has been appointed at leading East Midlands law firm Nelsons, following the promotion of Zoe Till to partner at the firm’s Nottingham office.

A highly experienced, chartered financial planner, Zoe has been with Nelsons since 2018 supporting clients to achieve their practical needs and aspirational goals. Zoe has displayed an impressive upward trajectory having only been promoted to investment director in June last year.

Zoe will now lead Nelsons’ dedicated investment team, working across a broad range of clients including many longstanding relationships, with more than £300 million funds under management.

Zoe said: “I joined Nelsons because of its unique culture and the idea of having a team of financial advisors working alongside legal services really appealed to me. It’s great to be able to collaborate with other departments to better support clients and essentially provide everything under one roof.

“The current economic climate has undoubtedly caused uncertainty for many businesses and individuals, so our support and guidance help clients deal with their present and future finances.

“Our focus is always on the client journey and empowering clients to achieve their goals, so it’s important to have a relationship and spend time building that trust. We are there to guide them through life’s milestones and events, helping them navigate any unexpected changes.”

Zoe takes over as head of department from John Stanley, who has grown the team significantly over recent years and continues to be a partner with the firm.

She added: “I’m excited for this next chapter in my career, leading a great team while continuing to boost our profile as well as building the reputation for the whole firm.”

The investment management team offers advice on planning for the future, pensions, cash flow modelling and intergenerational wealth management as well as advising organisations.

Stewart Vandermark, chief executive at Nelsons said: “The investment management team has supported clients both locally and nationally, representing the scope and reach of Nelsons.

“It’s great to see Zoe’s progression; becoming a partner in just five years is a real testament to her hard work and commitment to Nelsons. I believe the team will continue to excel and grow under her guidance, allowing Nelsons to continue delivering outstanding service for our investment clients.”
