Mayer Brown advises Cloud Technology Solutions on strategic merger with Appsbroker

London — Mayer Brown advised Cloud Technology Solutions (CTS), a Marlin Equity Partners portfolio company, on its strategic merger with Appsbroker Ltd, a leading digital transformation consultancy with a focus on the retail, financial services, media and entertainment and manufacturing sectors.

The merger will create the largest Google Cloud dedicated digital consultancy in Europe, with offices in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Romania delivering professional and managed services across Google Cloud and the wider Google product portfolio.

Founded in 2008, CTS works with organisations in the retail, financial services, public, manufacturing and media and entertainment sectors to modernise their technology stack, offering consultancy, implementation, billing and managed services for both Google Cloud Platform and Workspace.

Headquartered in Swindon, Appsbroker is one of the largest European Goggle Cloud-only System Integrators, serving clients through application, data and infrastructure transformation, with over fifteen years of experience in the field.

The transaction follows our advising of Marlin Equity Partners on its initial acquisition of CTS earlier in the year.

The Mayer Brown team was led by Private Equity partner James West and included associates James Beattie and Erna Soljanin, trainee Brett Lewis (all London), Private Equity partner Jan Streer and associate Joy Sievers (both Frankfurt), Tax partner Simon Rose, associate Jack Feehan and trainee Yuma Takahashi, Employment & Benefits partner Christopher Fisher, senior associate Sian Baker, counsel James Perrott and consultant Andrew Stanger, IP partner Oliver Yaros and associate Ellen Hepworth, Antitrust & Competition counsel Mark Hills and senior associate Kathryn Lloyd, Real Estate partner Iain Roberts and associate Kirsty McLeish and Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Jason Hungerford, senior associate James Ford and associate Mihira Patten (all London).
