Linklaters advised the sole sponsor and underwriters on the global offering and listing of H shares of Laopu Gold Co., Ltd. (Laopu Gold) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering raised approximately HK$906m, making it the second-largest listing in the consumer sector and one of the top five listings in Hong Kong SAR this year.
Laopu Gold is the only brand that focuses on the design, manufacture and sale of heritage gold jewellery among the key brands in China’s gold jewellery market, and has ranked first in terms of single-store sales in each of 2022 and 2023 among all gold jewellery brands in China, according to Frost & Sullivan. Laopu Gold self-operates 33 boutiques in reputable commercial centres in 14 cities across China.
