Linklaters has advised Chariot Top Group BV, the company managed by the largest investment manager in private equity real estate in Central Eastern Europe – Griffin Real Estate, on the sale of the 1.8 ha investment plot in Katowice on Gornoslaska st.
The sold property was part of a portfolio of 28 real estate assets Chariot acquired in January 2018. It was the largest commercial real estate transaction in 2018. The value of this transaction amounted to EUR 1 bn. Currently, Chariot’s portfolio consists, among others, of: M1 Marki shopping centre in Warsaw, four retail parks and twelve hypermarkets (including Auchan and Bi1) with around 350,000 sqm gla.
