Linklaters has advised Resi4Rent on the acquisition of another three buildings for long-term rental from Echo Investment. The first acquisition took place in January 2020 and related to the first completed building of Resi4Rent – apartment building at Rychtalska Street in the northern part of Wrocław. The three acquired apartment buildings consist of R4R Warszawa Browary at Krochmalna Street, R4R Łódź Wodna at Wodna Street and R4R Wrocław Kępa Mieszczańska at Mieszczańska Street. R4R Warszawa Browary is located in a historical space in the centre of Warsaw that has been redeveloped and transformed into a modern private and public space. R4R Warszawa Browary consists of a group of residential buildings with 450 apartments for rent and will house restaurants, cafes, patisseries, and a mini brewery and will become a place of fine dining and entertainment. The platform, jointly with Echo Investment, has six projects under construction in Warsaw, Poznań, Gdańsk, and Kraków. It is the first residential-for-rent platform in Poland, whose target is to build ca. 10,000 apartments by 2025, which will make it the largest privately-owned residential fund in Poland.
Resi4Rent is a joint-venture project between R4R Sarl, an entity controlled by a fund managed by one of the leading investment management companies in the world, and Echo Investment, the largest Polish developer. The company has been established for operational management and rental of ready-made apartments.
