Link Legal advised and assisted Twin Technology SE (‘Twin Tech’) in its acquisition of additional equity stake in Audiencetech India Solutions Private Limited (‘Audience Tech’), by way of a primary transfer of equity shares held by the existing shareholders of Audience Tech. Pursuant to the closure of the transaction, Twin Tech holds 51% stake in Audience Tech.

Twin Tech is a Germany based entity engaged in the development and operation of IT applications in the fields of trade, mobility, energy, media and finance. It is also involved in the acquisition and investment in projects using/ promoting the technologies and products developed by it.

Audience Tech is a Bangalore (India) based company engaged in the field of software products development, information systems/ solutions and development of related products, and renders consultancy and supply services globally.

Link Legal, led by its Corporate Partner Ketan Mukhija, Associate Partner Gaurav Priyadarshi and Senior Associate Apurv Ranjan assisted Twin Tech from the preliminary stage and until the effective closing of the entire transaction. The scope of work also involved drafting/ finalization of the definitive agreements and ancillary documents, assisting and advising Twin Tech on the relevant compliances with the extant Indian exchange control regulations, as well as general Indian law advisory on applicable corporate legal compliances and stamp duty payment.
