Pernod Ricard USA (Paris:RI) has announced the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake in Skrewball, the world’s first super-premium peanut butter flavored American whiskey.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Skrewball in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Orange County partner Daniel Rees and San Diego partner Cheston Larson, with associates Nima Movahedi, Taylor Ashton, and Jack McKay. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Los Angeles partner Eric Cho, with associate Eric Song; on intellectual property matters by San Diego partner Jennifer Barry and Orange County counsel David Kuiper, with associate Adam Herrera; on benefits and compensation matters by San Diego partner Holly Bauer, with associate Vanessa King; and on antitrust matters by Washington, D.C. counsels Peter Todaro and Joseph Simei.
