Latham & Watkins Advises Orion Energy Partners in US$175 Million Investment in Talen Energy Corporation and Cumulus Growth

Talen Energy Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary Cumulus Growth Holdings LLC have announced that they have taken additional steps forward in capitalizing and executing Talen’s strategic transformation to a renewable energy and digital infrastructure growth platform. Cumulus Growth, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Cumulus Digital LLC, has secured a 6-year, up to US$175 million strategic capital partnership with Orion Energy Partners .

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Orion Energy Partners in the transaction with a deal team led by Los Angeles/New York partner Jeff Greenberg, with New York associates Nicole Goldman and Maria Borges. Advice was also provided on corporate matters by Houston partner Lauren Anderson; and on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal.
