Latham & Watkins Advises on Baytex’s US$2.14 Billion Completed Sale of US Eagle Ford Assets

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX: BTE) (NYSE: BTE) (Baytex) announced that it has closed the sale of its US Eagle Ford Assets for net proceeds of US$2.14 billion (approximately $2.96 billion in Canadian dollars) after closing adjustments.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented an undisclosed buyer in the transaction with a team led by partners Justin T. Stolte and Kevin Richardson, and counsel James Robertson, with associates Nathan Zhang, Patrick Donlon, and Robert Cunningham.
