Thintronics Inc. (Thintronics), a California-based electronic materials startup supplying high-performance insulators for emerging AI datacenter, networking, and RF/millimeter-wave (mmW) application, has announced it has raised US$23 million in a Series A funding round. The new funding, led by Maverick Capital and Translink Capital, will support commercialization of a novel insulator platform.
Latham & Watkins LLP is representing Maverick Capital in the fund raise with a corporate deal team led partners John Miller and Haim Zaltzman, with associates Gen Bates, Andrew Rondeau, and Jihoo Kim. Advice was also provided on IP and data privacy matters by associate Deborah Hinck.
