Latham & Watkins Advises L Catterton in GP Stakes Transaction and Strategic Partnership with Hunter Point Capital

L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused investment firm, has announced a strategic partnership with Hunter Point Capital (HPC). HPC has made a passive minority investment in L Catterton to accelerate the growth of its business, with a focus on its new fund platforms. In addition, Bennett Goodman, HPC’s co-Founder and Executive Chairman, will serve as a Strategic Credit Advisor to L Catterton.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents L Catterton in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partner Alex Kelly, with associate Shelton Taylor. Advice was also provided on UK corporate matters by London partner Tom Evans, with associate Jon Fox; on investment funds matters by Washington, D.C. partner Barton Clark and New York partner John Kelley, with associate Elliot Domio; on tax matters by Washington, D.C. partner Cheryl Coe, Paris partner Olivia Rauch-Ravisé, and London partner Karl Mah, with associate Michael Zucker; on employment matters by Washington, D.C. partner David Della Rocca, with associate Samantha Voutyras; on capital markets matters by New York partners Adam Gelardi and Salvatore Vanchieri, with associate Kathleen Mehary; on intellectual property matters by New York partner Jeffrey Tochner; on funds regulatory matters by Chicago partner Laura Ferrell, with associates Daniel Filstrup and Brian Thompson; on UK regulatory matters by London partner Nicola Higgs, with associate Denisa Odendaal; and on data privacy matters by Houston counsel Robert Brown.
