Latham & Watkins LLP has advised Ares Management funds on the financing of Summitas Group in connection with its partnership with BVUK. Group. The financing is structured as a unitranche facility in combination with an acquisition and capex facility to finance further growth.
Summitas Group, an integrated industrial and commercial insurance broker, is a joint venture of Bain Capital, Canada Life, and JDC Group. BVUK. Group is a German consulting and brokerage firm for corporate pension and compensation systems in medium-sized and large companies.
