Latham & Watkins has advised the Pimkie group, a French apparel brand, on its financial and operational restructuring.
After nearly two years of assistance, the group was sold to a consortium of buyers composed of Lee Cooper France, Amoniss (Kindy), and Ibisler Tekstil, who were selected to enable Pimkie’s turnaround and development.
Prior to its sale, Latham also assisted the group in its discussions with its public creditors, lessors, and banks and in the modification of its international footprint.
The Latham Paris team was led by restructuring & special situations partner Alexandra Bigot, with Célia Jiquel and Eeva Bernard, and Thomas Doyen, counsel, for the negotiations with the landlords. Advice was provided on finance matters by partner Michel Houdayer, with associates Aurélien Lorenzi, Hugo Bodkin, and Florana Benabid.
