Cross-border team represents investors on funding round of London-headquartered AI firm.
Latham & Watkins has advised Index Ventures and Accel on the US$100 million Series A funding round of Tessl, an open software development platform that reimagines how software is created in the AI era.
The new funding will allow Tessl to build out the platform and accelerate hiring in AI research, engineering, product, design, and developer relations.
The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Accel, GV, and boldstart.
The Latham team was led by London partner Shing Lo and Silicon Valley partner Benjamin Potter, with San Diego counsel Evan R. Youngstrom, and London associate Venice Ma.
