Latham Advises Nscale on US$2 Billion Series C

Latham & Watkins has advised Nscale, the global hyperscaler engineered for enterprise-grade AI infrastructure, on its US$2 billion Series C funding round. The transaction, which values Nscale at US$14.6 billion, represents the largest ever funding round in Europe.

The round was led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, with participation from Astra Capital Management, Citadel, Dell, Jane Street, Lenovo, Linden Advisors, Nokia, NVIDIA, and Point72. The new raise will further accelerate Nscale’s global development of vertically integrated AI infrastructure — from GPU compute and networking to data services and orchestration software — across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Latham also recently advised on Nscale’s US$1.4 billion GPU financing and record breaking US$1.1 billion Series B.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with counsel Jennifer Cadet and associates Toni Adejuyigbe and Sidney Chin.
