Latham Advises Financing Sources on Financing for Apollo Funds’ Acquisition of The Travel Corporation

Apollo (NYSE: APO) and The Travel Corporation (TTC), a global portfolio of 18 market-leading travel brands, have announced they have entered into definitive agreement for Apollo-managed funds to acquire The Travel Corporation, which has been privately owned and operated for more than a century.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the lenders in the financing with a team led by partners Erika Weinberg, Alfred Xue, Nicole Fanjul, Pamela Kellet, and Brianna Oller, with associates Tulika Sinha, Aditi Sharma, Sean Travers, Jack Klein, and Govin Kaggal. Advice was also provided on UK finance matters by partners Fergus Wheeler and Paul Yin, with associates Christina Nasioutzik and Medha Vikram; on tax matters by partner Jiyeon Lee-Lim; on intellectual property and data privacy matters by partners Gail Crawford, Deborah Kirk, and Michelle Gross, with associates Tori Hu, Amy Tosi, and Oscar Bjartell; on labor and employment matters by partner Bradd Williamson and counsel Leah Segall, with associate Victoria Wolfe; on environmental matters by partners Paul Davies and Josh Marnitz, with associate Reilly Nelson; on sanctions matters by partner Charles Claypoole, with associate Annie Birch; and on UK regulatory matters by partner Pamela Reddy.
