Latham & Watkins has advised CVC and its portfolio company Domestic & General, one of the largest appliance care providers across the UK and Europe, on the sale of Domestic & General to Asurion, a global leader in technology care, support, and protection.

Asurion and Domestic & General bring together highly complementary business models and expertise, with minimal overlap in geography or operations. The transaction is expected to close in 2026 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Upon closing, Domestic & General will continue to operate under its brand as a business unit of Asurion.
