Kirkland & Ellis advised STG, a leading private equity firm focused on investing in the software, data analytics and software-enabled technology services sectors, on the closing of STG VII (together with its related vehicles, the “Fund”) on $4.2 billion of committed capital, including limited partner commitments of $4 billion. The Fund was oversubscribed at its hard cap, successfully completing the fundraise above its $3 billion target in under five months.
