Kirkland & Ellis advised Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (“Shentel”) (NASDAQ: SHEN) on the sale of Shentel’s wireless assets and related rights to T-Mobile USA, Inc. for $1.95 billion in cash. Shentel provides a broad range of diversified communications services through its high speed, state-of-the-art wireless, cable, fiber optic and fixed wireless networks to customers in the Mid-Atlantic United States. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
