Kirkland Represents Morgan Stanley in Proposed Take-Private of Sina

Kirkland & Ellis is advising Morgan Stanley Asia Limited as financial advisor to the special committee of the board of directors of Sina Corporation (Nasdaq: SINA), a leading online media company in China, in the potential take-private of Sina.

Sina announced it has entered into a definitive merger agreement regarding the potential take-private on September 28, 2020 which valued the company at approximately US$2.59 billion.
