Kirkland & Ellis represented North Hudson Resource Partners LP and its affiliates in their partnership with Split Rock Resources, LLC, a company focused on the acquisition of well interests in the DJ Basin. To date Split Rock has obtained $140 million in aggregate capital commitments from North Hudson and has acquired interests or participated in the drilling of over 190 horizontal wells. Kirkland also worked on investment fund-related matters related to this announcement.
