Kirkland & Ellis is advising KKR and its portfolio company Kito Crosby Limited, a global leader in lifting solutions, on its sale to Columbus McKinnon Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCO), a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions for material handling. The acquisition was announced February 10, 2025 and is expected to close later this calendar year, subject to regulatory approvals and satisfactory completion of customary closing conditions. The all-cash transaction valued the company at $2.7 billion subject to customary post-closing purchase price adjustments.
