Kirkland Advises GeoVera Insurance Holdings on Sale of MGA to SageSure

Kirkland & Ellis is advising specialty property insurance provider GeoVera Insurance Holdings, Ltd. on the sale of GeoVera MGA to managing general agent SageSure. The sale includes the underwriting operations of GeoVera MGA’s best-in-class residential earthquake franchise. The transaction was announced April 9, 2024 and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
