Kirkland Advises Brookfield on Offer to Acquire Befimmo SA

Kirkland & Ellis is advising RE Invest Belgium SA, an entity fully controlled by one of Brookfield’s real estate private funds, on the all-cash voluntary public takeover offer for all outstanding shares of Befimmo SA, a SIRP under Belgian law, the leading Belgian office REIT. Befimmo is a real-estate investor and operator and a Belgian Real-Estate Investment Trust (SIR-GVV), focused on office buildings and co-working spaces located in Brussels and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
