The global law firm Jones Day announced today that Javier Muñoz Méndez has joined the Firm as a partner in its Real Estate Practice, based in Jones Day’s Madrid Office.
Muñoz Méndez has 16 years of experience working on a wide range of corporate and real estate transactions around the world. He advises Spanish and international clients on all types of real estate deals, including purchases, fundings, and sale leaseback transactions. Muñoz Méndez also has experience working on joint ventures, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and refinancings.

The Firm’s Real Estate clients include real estate private equity funds, institutional investors, investment banks and lenders, real estate developers, and real estate operators.

Muñoz Méndez has served as a guest lecturer in the Master’s Degree program for Accessing the Legal Profession at Universidad Carlos III and at Universidad San Pablo-CEU. He also regularly writes articles for the financial and legal media in Spain.
