The Legal Aid Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow is proud to announce the fourth edition of the RMLNLU National Mediation competition to be held from 19th-21st January 2018.
This year’s competition is being organized in collaboration with ‘Peacekeeping And Conflict Resolution Team’ (PACT), an organisation formed under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 dedicated towards ADR.
It shall be the Chief Advising Organizer of IV RMLNLU National Mediation Competition and shall empower the young generation of lawyers in the concept of consensual dispute resolution through orientations.
General Guidelines
The competition is limited to undergraduate law students only. A team shall comprise of two members each, who will play the roles of client and mediator.
The Competition will comprise two preliminary rounds followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and final round. Top two clients and counsels will qualify to the final round.

Last date for requesting Invitations: 23rd October, 2017
Tournament dates: 19th-21st January, 2018.
Awards and Prizes
The participants qualifying for the following titles shall be felicitated with trophies and cash prizes worth INR 50,000:
- Best mediator
- Runner-up mediator
- Best client
- Runner-up client
- Best team
The semi-finalists shall also go enriched with resources in the field of ADR.
