Jagran Lakecity University is going to organize an International Conference on “Human Rights: Contemporary Issues & Challenges 2015”.

Date: 2nd – 3rd October, 2015

About the Conference:
Human life is the greatest gift of the nature which shall neither be damaged nor demeaned by ourselves. Every ‘human life’ carries along with its birth, the right to live to the fullest extent and enjoy all that is bestowed by the nature.

The history has taught us enough on how the greed, jealousy, animosity and ignorance can destroy the dignity of life. Persistent attempts are being made by the great persons and institutions to educate the society in this regard.

“Learned from my illiterate but wise mother that all rights to be deserved and preserved came from duty well done” says Mahatma Gandhi. Thus the right to live on the earth accrues only when owe the duty to respect others’ rights.

With the growth of the society, the horizons of Human Rights also expand. There are numerous dimensions of Human Rights which are equally worthy of attention and deliberation. It behaves us to delve into the roots of human life both at domestic and global level and preserve the rights which are indispensable for a dignified healthy and meaningful life irrespective of race, gender, religion, nationality and economic status. Mr. Ban Ki Moon gives a call to each one of us … I believe in a world of justice and human rights for all. A world where girls can grow up free of fear of abuse. A world where women are treated with the respect and dignity that is their right. A world where poverty is not acceptable. My dear friends, you can make this your world.
