India Today Group also announced the appointment of MN Nasser Kabir as Group General Counsel, India Today Group. Nasser was the Founder of InCounsel Advocates, a Gurgaon based law firm. He led a team of lawyers in advising clients on various issues relating to mergers & acquisitions, FIPB filing and approval, due diligence, contracts, intellectual property rights, disputes, land acquisitions and criminal and civil litigation. His clients included multinational companies, large media houses, start-up companies and a government agency.

Prior to this, Nasser was the General Counsel of Renew Power Ventures, Senior Vice President Legal at Strides Arcolab, and DGM Legal at HT Media. After completing his LLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, he started his career as a Junior Lawyer with a Senior Supreme Court Advocate. Nasser graduated with honors in History from Cotton College, Guwahati.

Puneet Jain, Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Group Chief Law & Compliance Officer, has moved on from the India Today Group.

Having been associated with the India Today Group for more than two decades, Jain has lent his expertise to the company in various domains including banking, finance, strategy and legal.

His talent and commitment towards critical responsibilities was spotted early and the Company strengthened his development through various courses such as CMA, MBA, Company Secretary, LLB and PhD.
