London, 2 October 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells today announced that Andrew Shaw has joined the Corporate & Finance practice group as an energy transition partner based in London. He joins from CMS, where he served as co-head of the firm’s Oil & Gas and Energy Transition team and has over 20-years’ experience in the energy sector.

His arrival follows the news of other recent global appointments in the sector, including in London, Germany and Singapore.

Andrew’s practice covers a broad range of transactions across the Energy and Natural Resources sector. He has extensive experience in conventional oil & gas and petrochemicals together with market leading experience in newer areas, including green and blue hydrogen, green ammonia, carbon capture, geothermal, wind, solar and BESS. His clients include developers, funds, corporates, contractors and oil & gas companies all of which have a significant role to play in delivering the energy mix of the future.
