Hogan Lovells appoints Greg Noonan as Office Managing Partner, Kristin Connarn as Office Administrative Partner in Boston

Boston, 8 January 2024 — Global law firm Hogan Lovells has named Gregory (Greg) Noonan, a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration and Employment (LAE) practice, as Office Managing Partner (OMP) of the firm’s Boston office.

The firm also announced that Kristin Connarn, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property, Media and Technology practice, has been named Office Administrative Partner (OAP). Both positions became effective 1 January.

Noonan assumes the role of OMP from partner Maria Durant, with whom he previously served as OAP of the Boston office. Durant will continue with her practice.

“Greg and Kristin are stepping into their new roles at an exciting time for Boston office,” said Richard Lorenzo, Hogan Lovells Regional Managing Partner for The Americas. “Boston is an important market for the firm, particularly in sectors such as life sciences and technology. Greg and Kristin join an energetic leadership team committed to this market.”

Noonan joined the firm’s Boston office as an Investigations, White Collar and Fraud (IWCF) partner in 2017, serving as the office’s LAE group manager from 2017 to 2023 and becoming Boston OAP in 2020. A Boston and San Diego Assistant U.S. Attorney before his return to private practice, Noonan’s broad experience with white-collar criminal and civil investigations and cases has strengthened the firm’s capabilities in this area, particularly in the Life Sciences sector. Noonan is also a member of the Americas Diversity Committee and co-leads the firm’s LGBTQ+ Affinity group.

Noonan said: “I am excited at the opportunity to help guide our Boston office. As one of very few truly integrated global law firms, Hogan Lovells is represents clients around the world in their most complex, multijurisdictional matters across highly regulated sectors. I look forward to working with Kristin as we expand our footprint in Boston.”

Connarn added: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Greg in the coming year to strengthen our Boston presence. Our ambitious and supportive culture here allows us to deliver excellent legal service to our clients, both locally and across the globe.”

Connarn joined the firm in 2019, bringing an extensive background in biotechnology and cancer research and a knowledge of the complex regulatory landscape for life sciences clients. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Hogan Lovells Life Sciences Leadership Team, and co-chair of the Cell, Tissue, and Gene Therapy (CTGT) working group.
