Led by Frankfurt counsel Maximilian Broermann, global law firm Hogan Lovells advised SPREAD GmbH on its €15 million Series-A financing round.
The funding round was led by HV Capital and included participation from existing investors like Cavalry Ventures and angel investors Dylan Field (Figma Co-Founder & CEO), the founders of logistics unicorn Sennder, and Summit Partners founder Walter Kortschak.
Founded in 2019, SPREAD is a Berlin-based startup for complex mechatronic products that makes product data accessible, intuitive and actionable. Their Engineering Intelligence Network connects all types of product information to help engineering teams gain an objective understanding of highly complex systems like cars, planes, and machines.
Funding will go to developing the platform’s capabilities and expanding to new markets.
