Hogan Lovells advises on US$343 million IPO by Acme Solar Holdings
Global law firm Hogan Lovells advised as US counsel on the US$343 million IPO of Acme Solar Holdings, one of the largest renewable energy independent power producers in India. Acme’s portfolio of renewable energy projects includes solar, wind, hybrid, and firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects. The IPO was managed by Nuvama Wealth Management, Kotak Mahindra, JM Financial, Motilal Oswal and ICICI Securities and was subscribed over 2.75 times.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by India practice lead and Singapore Office Managing Partner Biswajit Chatterjee, with support from Varun Jetly, Kaustubh George, Aditya Rajput, Jayant Bharadwaj, Sanjana Ravjiani and Rosen Chen, all based in Singapore, as well as partners Nancy D. O’Neil and Henry Kahn, based in Baltimore and Washington D.C.
This marks another significant milestone in the renewable energy sector for the Hogan Lovells India ECM team, following their work advising Waaree Energies’ IPO.
