Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised IBM on its acquisition of SiXworks, a UK based consultancy serving the UK defence sector and specialising in digital transformation in highly secure environments, from Chiltern Capital and key management. SiXworks will join IBM Consulting as part of its public sector industry team.
SiXworks is a leading consulting provider of secure digital solutions, specialising in end-to-end digital transformation from defining requirements to agile solution delivery to post-deployment maintenance support.
The acquisition enhances IBM Consulting’s ability to serve its clients in the UK defence sector with additional highly specialist industry and technical domain skills across digital, cyber and defence cloud solutions.
The Hogan Lovells team was led from London by Private Equity partner John Livesey, with support from Washington, D.C.-based M&A partner Will Yavinsky, senior associate Vinura Ladduwahetty; associates Blaise Salle and Imogen Thwaites; and trainee solicitor Hope O’Dwyer (all M&A).
